OEAGM 2010 – 34th annual workshop of the

Austrian Association for Pattern Recognition (AAPR)

Computer Vision in a Global Society

Zwettl, Waldviertel, Austria

May 27 – 28, 2010

The 34rd annual Workshop of the Austrian Association for Pattern Recognition (AAPR) provides a platform bringing together researchers for discussing traditional and new areas of the computer vision discipline. It is organized in workshop form presenting the latest work of Austrian and international institutes in the domain of computer vision and pattern recognition.

We cordially welcome submissions on the conference’s main issue, as we plan a dedicated session to these topics. Further topics relate to all aspects covered by the OEAGM/AAPR community. They traditionally include, but are not limited to:

Paper Submission

Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper up to 8 pages. Papers have to be written in English. Formatting instructions and templates will be available on the webpage. The paper has to be submitted electronically via the web page (starting by January 8, 2010). Accepted papers, based on three double blind reviews, have to be presented orally or as poster (registration required). Proceedings are intended to be published by the OCG in the series books@ocg.at. Submission and presentation of a similar paper at another international conference is no reason for rejection, but original contributions are preferred.

Venue

The OEAGM 2010 will be held in Zwettl, a town in the heart of the Waldviertel region, famous for the local beer and one of the world oldest Cistercian monasteries. Zwettl can be reached by ÖBB (Franz-Josefs-Bahn, approx. 2.5 hours to Vienna), by bus service from Vienna and Linz and (easiest) by car. The conference will most probably be held at Schwarz-Alm Seminar hotel, located about 1.5 km outside of Zwettl

Registration

The registration fee includes accommodation (1 night in a twin/double room), breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch, conference dinner, and workshop proceedings.

Best Paper Award

An award will be given to the best paper by a young researcher which is related to the main topic of the workshop.
