Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a method to capture and
visualize the three-dimensional structure of the human eye’s
background. An essential structure in these data are capillary vessels
that are located in the ganglion cell layer of the eye. By taking
advantage of Doppler OCT data it is possible to measure the flow speed
within these volumes.
Goal of the thesis is to develop a method, which is able to segment
the capillary vessels and measure the flow speed of the blood within
these vessels.
